I just realised it's been ages since my last post so I will try and squeeze as much as I wanna say since the last time. Hmmm where shall I begin?
Ah! Wifey celebrated her 26th birthday this month. We had a little get together with her family as we indulged in an ayam penyet feast over at Lucky Plaza. The ayam penyet is goooood! Sedap sampai menjilat jari! Ishk.. puasa puasa. Then I surprised her with a Royal Praline cake from Prego and a stalk of her favourite sunflower when we met up with the Beats Society gang a few days later. The look on her face when she saw the surprise was priceless. Heh heh heh... I got her birthday present a few days after that. You guys can ask her what I got her, well, it's what she chose actually.. *winks winks*
Platform 7 went well. Though I hate the crowd this year. They were so dead. I hope it'll be better next year. Last year's somehow overshadowed this year's. Mendak la hey!
Official news is that Wifey has quitted her job. In fact, today is her last day in the office. And no she hasn't got a new job yet. She'll be at home, taking care of her health and starting her training in tai-tai'dom.
Two of Wifey's friends gave birth to healthy babies this month too. Congratulations to Era&Ajan & Fau&Farhat on their new arrivals. Ours should be next year, kan baby kan? *looks at wifey's direction*
Noi, wifey's friend who was here for her attachment stint has gone back to Germany. Selamat jalan, Noi! We'll see you in May, ok? *winks winks*
I'm having severe flu & running nose, because of my sinus problems. What a way to start the Ramadan month. Aku irritated dengan hidung mcm gini! I just used up a whole box of tissue in the office today.
And I've got a new toy - a brand new PSP! Woohoooo! Best kiah benda alah tu!
Ok that's all I've got to squeeze out for now. I should be writing more but aku malas. So thanks and in the words of Sheikh Salim, Char Chien!

I had the best fun for free in my life ever last Saturday. I was at the Singtel/Sony-Ericsson Traffic Jam party down at Connaught Drive. They had the road closed and converted to a big street party complete with free popcorns, candy floss and ice creams though the drinks, as usual, were overpriced. But the big portion of nachos somehow salvaged the situation. They could do with more cheese though. The BS boys, Zul & Krazie Starr, performed alongside the Dubwise guys and DJ Inquisitive. The crowd were really appreciative of Zul's beatboxing skills. I can tell they were really impressed especially when he went through his repertoire of popular hip-hop hits. They cheered the loudest when he did some reggaeton track though.
Of course, the highlight of the night was Arrested Development. It's been awhile since I last heard any of their tracks. I remembered buying their first album on cassette back when I was still in primary school. I remembered listening to tracks like
Tennessee, Mr Wendal and Everyday People and tried singing/rapping along with the words. They were so good live, I tell you. The band was tight, the DJ was off the hook and the 2 female singers sang like there's no tomorrow. Especially one of them who was so into the music that she pranced around the stage like a woman possessed. Almost all of us didn't quite recognise the newer tracks but when they played their hits, everyone of us sang and danced along. They even managed to sneak in a Bob Marley favourite,
Redemption Song into their setlist which was breathtaking and gave me goosebumps. We had so much fun, me, Wifey, Imran, Nadrah and Salem. The younger folks who came along, Richard, Hamizan and Hafiz, I believe didn't quite get into it like we did.
Music not their era lah!
Oh and thank goodness for earwax! Just before Arrested Development came on and as I was snapping away on the camera, some flying insect somehow flew his way into my right ear. I was shouting at Wifey to take it out of my ear while I was banging away on the other ear. Wifey felt so helpless. I sweared I could have felt the lil' bugger flapping his wings inside my ear. At the moment, I have even thought of it entering my brain and I would have to live it for the rest of my life! I managed to dig the bastard out after repeated tries. I was so shell-shocked after that and I remembered sweating like hell..
Fuuuhhhh
