Woke up early today to catch the telecast of the Liverpool - Marseille Champions League match with much anticipation because they're playing it at Anfield and Anfield is known to be a fortress for visiting teams. It didn't hurt that Marseille was at the wrong end of the table of the French league. What lied ahead after that was an anti-climax. We played rubbish football. There I've said it. It was a mediocre performance by the team in red. There was no penetration in their play, no conviction in their tackles and no fluidity in their movement. We were ordinary, not looking like a team that would seriously challenge for honours this season. But unlike fans of a certain "enemy", I won't go around blaming the blind referee or the lack of television replays or the colour of our jerseys (hey, a certain team complained about that before!) or whatever excuses football fans, managers, officials, coaches etc can come up these days. I'm just gonna say it.. we weren't simply good enough on the night. Oh well...
Wi-fey gonna go for her eye test today and somehow or rather I managed to secure a half day leave at the very last minute. (note to self: please plan leaves in advance!) Wifey needs a companion as she will be slightly blinded after they apply the eye drops to her eyes. Hope everything will turn out well.
I've finally joined the Facebook camp. I don't quite get it though. I still prefer Multiply. Anyway add me at my Facebook profile. I need more friends in there!
Hari Raya is around the corner and I haven't prepare a single thing at all!! No bajus, the house ( and room) are not cleaned yet, haven't exchanged notes at the bank, haven't bought kuih and drinks.... I hope I'll survive this year around.. ; ) It's gonna be my first Raya as a husband and a married man so no choice but gotta give green packets lah!
I need new games in my PSP! All you PSP gamers, please recommend some fun games to me. I can't just survive on Pro Evolution and Virtua Tennis alone!
I need to do some shopping. There's a wedding to attend to this Sunday at the Fullerton Hotel so hotel wedding = dressing it up to the nines! I need a pair of white/khaki pants! Just so I can match them with my spiffy pimp daddy white pointys from Pedro. Heh..
I managed to finally catch "Kerana Cintaku Saerah", the Malaysian television series currently showing over at TV3. Imran's song "Seribu Tahun" was chosen to be the theme song for the series. Yes, the very same song we got him to sing at our wedding. ; ) I think this is the first time I find myself anticipating a new episode of a Malay series. The script is well-written, the characters are fantastically casted and Imran's song compliments the tear-jerking scenes oh so well. Best kiah citer ni! And I forgot the last time a television show made me cry like I did watching this. I eagerly await for the release of the box set (if they ever gonna do one, that is!)
